  • ability to tolerate significant changes in temperature and frequent immersion of hands in water and cleaning or sanitizing solutions
  • valid food/alcohol certification as per state law or willingness to obtain
  • ability to stand for 10 hours continuously
  • ability to lift at least 50 pounds
  • good hearing capability for safety
  • proficiency in English reading, writing and speaking
  • reliable transportation

Job Duties

  • Washing and cleaning tableware, kitchen and cooking equipment
  • keeping the dish room and equipment clean and organized
  • stocking the kitchen with clean tableware
  • ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of dish and work areas, bathrooms, trash cans, floors, parking lots, back dock and kitchen
  • handling and using chemicals and dishwashing machinery according to safety standards
  • assisting in food prep and any other duties as requested
