Job Duties
- communicate the primary language of the work location
- be stationary for long periods and move within the kitchen area
- exert fast-paced mobility for up to 8 hours
- bend, stoop, lift, and carry dish racks, pots, pans, and bus tubs weighing up to 50 lbs
- work under conditions of wet floors, extreme temperatures, and loud noise
- set up and break down the dish machine
- check that dish machine is operating correctly and report defects
- implement preventive maintenance procedures
- wash and correctly store all dishes
- presoak pots, pans, and silverware according to company procedures
- check water temperature during dishwashing for sanitary compliance
- remove trash from dish room to dumpsters
- clean and sanitize garbage cans and maintain liners
- keep dish room clean and dry including detergent stage area
- mop floors
- work collaboratively as part of a team
- perform other related duties as assigned by a manager
