Job Requirements

  • Ability to operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as dishwashing machine and pot-scrubbing stations
  • experience with cleaning and sanitizing kitchen tools and areas preferred
  • capability to receive and properly store deliveries
  • physical ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools including dishwashing machine and pot-scrubbing station
  • wash and disinfect kitchen and storage areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment
  • receive deliveries and store perishables properly while rotating stock
  • use detergent and sanitizing chemicals in the three-compartment sink to clean dishes
  • inspect, pull, and stack cleaned items and send soiled items back for re-scrubbing and re-washing
  • sort, soak, and wash silverware
  • empty and maintain trashcans and dumpster area
  • clean and mop all assigned areas
  • dispose of glass in proper containers
  • break down cardboard boxes and place recyclables in the recycle bin
  • follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
  • report maintenance needs and unsafe work conditions to management
  • move, lift, carry, push, pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • perform other reasonable job duties as assigned
