Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in dishwashing or kitchen sanitation preferred
- ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds
- knowledge of safe chemical handling and sanitation practices
- completion of OSHA-required safety training
- strong work ethic and reliability
- effective communication skills
- ability to maintain confidentiality
Job Qualifications
- Highly organized
- must be able to work the majority of the shift in a standing position, constantly moving, and able to lift 30 pounds
- strong guest service skills
- must have attention to detail and be customer service oriented
- ability to communicate satisfactorily with guests, management, and co-workers
Job Duties
- Sets up dishwasher correctly ie: temperature, drains, detergents at proper levels
- washes dirty dishes then stacks and stores in the appropriate area of the kitchen
- thoroughly cleans dishwashing equipment and work areas
- performs clean-up in all kitchen areas
- wash pots and pans properly, including presoak and sanitizing
- dispose of waste in manner prescribed by management
- assists in putting away stock, rotating stock and cleaning stock rooms
