Job Requirements

  • Minimum legal age of 16
  • less than one year experience in customer service or food service environment
  • ability to follow instructions and maintain sanitation standards
  • capability to perform physical duties such as lifting and standing for extended periods
  • willingness to work varied shifts
  • ability to operate dishwashing equipment
  • reliable attendance

Job Duties

  • Retrieving trays from dirty utility room
  • cleaning off meal carts
  • sending dirty dishes through dish machine
  • washing pots
  • placing clean dishes in designated work area
  • throwing trash
  • sweeping and mopping
  • participating in delivery of food services tray to customers while maintaining quality and sanitation standards
  • assembling and delivering patient/customer meals in accordance with established criteria and procedures
  • supporting the organization's visions, values and strategies
  • maintaining and supporting sanitation standards as required by department policy and regulatory agencies
  • operating and maintaining equipment commensurate with job assignment
  • ensuring quality guidelines are maintained as they pertain to the area assigned
  • maintaining department records, reports and files as required
  • participating in educational meetings/in-services
  • performing other duties as assigned
