Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of high volume culinary or hospitality experience
  • Current food handler's card and relevant certifications as required by federal, state or local law
  • Basic knowledge of food handling, equipment and kitchenware sanitation and storage
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently
  • Ability to bend, stoop and kneel frequently
  • Routine standing for duration of shift
  • Ability to maneuver hand carts, blenders, knives, slicers, wine keys and other relevant kitchen tools
  • Flexibility to work scheduled shifts determined by business needs

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Basic knowledge of restaurant skills including food, equipment, kitchenware and tableware storage and rotation
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards

  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills

Job Duties

  • Create a relaxed destination actively participating in a team environment and demonstrating genuine hospitality and team player skills to promote culinary success
  • Set the course by fostering cleanliness and sanitizing tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment
  • Build the perfect oasis by keeping the dishroom and equipment clean and organized
  • Support your crew by ensuring safety, cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen by maintaining specified agency standards
  • Maintain proper food and equipment handling including storage and rotation
  • Perform general housekeeping duties such as sweeping, mopping, and trash removal
  • Participate in seasonal menu preparation and provide knowledgeable service on scratch cuisine and handcrafted cocktails
