Job Requirements
- temporary employment position not to extend beyond 28 weeks of shipboard work
- consumption of alcohol strictly prohibited during employment
- participate in emergency and safety training essential to ship operation
- willingness to work long hours daily
- physically fit to handle manual labor tasks
- able to maintain composure and professionalism in a dynamic environment
- compliance with federal law and Department of Transportation regulations
Job Qualifications
- must be at least eighteen years of age
- must be an American citizen or Green Card holder
- able to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, for 7 days a week, for up to 28 weeks
- able to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking
- must pass pre-employment drug test including marijuana and other controlled substances
- adherence to grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
- positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure

Job Duties
- responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the galley including cutlery, glassware, dishes, and surrounding areas
- receive and carry food deliveries which require lifting boxes that weigh up to 50 lbs
- ensure that the commercial dishwasher is operating properly and efficiently, reporting any maintenance issues to management
- create genuine rapport with guests and cater to all galley requests in an efficient manner
- perform additional functions such as greeting guests upon embarkation, assisting during special events including afternoon teas and snacks, and participating in evening entertainment
