Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent preferred
previous experience preferred
good organizational and verbal skills
ability to use logical and rational thinking to resolve issues
ability to perform basic mathematical skills
ability to perform moderate physical work including lifting up to 40 lbs and frequent lifting of up to 30 lbs
ability to perform activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, standing, pushing, lifting, and grasping for up to 5 hours without sitting
ability to sustain aerobic activity for 20 consecutive minutes
willingness to work indoors with potential exposure to sharp and rapid equipment movement, sharp utensils, harmful chemicals, and/or flying golf balls
must follow safety guidelines regarding working at heights and maintenance tasks
must be able to pass any requirements pertaining to disability accommodations

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

prepares tableware for washing, receives or collects tableware to be washed, and removes food residue with a scraper
sorts china, glassware, and silverware, placing each in separate racks or trays
heavily encrusted dishes receive extra scrubbing and soaking
sets up dish washing machine including turning it on, checking soap, rinse supply, and emptying food strainers
prepares glassware for washing, emptying liquids and sorting according to size
dries and polishes glassware with clean dishtowels
cleans dish washing equipment and working area
collects garbage from dining room, kitchen grills, and other collection areas
examines garbage for silverware and dishes
delivers retrieved silverware and dishes to their respective areas
cleans garbage cans thoroughly with hot soapy water and steam
performs other duties including keeping record of broken dishes, sweeping and mopping kitchen floors
maintains cleanliness and organization in all kitchen areas as per F&B Manual
completes opening and closing checklists as outlined in the F&B Manual
conducts daily walk through to ensure the facility is safe and presentable
protects the assets of the Club
operates within guidelines, policies, standards, and constraints as established by Hampton Golf
