Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a dishwashing or kitchen cleaning role preferred
- Ability to stand and/or walk 100% of time
- Able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
- Able to frequently lift up to 30 lbs
- Willingness to follow safety and chemical handling procedures
- Commitment to personal hygiene and uniform standards
Job Qualifications
- Ability to perform each essential function satisfactorily
- Willingness to follow strict sanitary procedures
- Ability to operate dishwashing equipment accurately
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Physical ability to stand and lift items as required
Job Duties
- Run dishes and silverware through dish machine following proper procedures
- Clean and maintain certain equipment and areas as designated by management
- Keep dish room clean at all times
- Keep sufficient supply of china, silverware, trays, cups, and glasses during service periods
- Clean dish machine after every meal
- Sweep and mop dish room floor at the end of each day, and empty mop bucket
- De-lime the dish machine once a week
