Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or use dishwashing machines ensuring cleanliness and sanitation
  • Wash pots, pans, and trays following assigned procedures
  • Polish silverware using burnishing machines, chemical dips, buffing wheels, and hand cloths
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures
  • Maintain temperatures and chemical levels according to standards
  • Keep dish area orderly and safe
  • Sweep and mop kitchen floors according to sanitation standards
  • Clean worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and food prep surfaces
  • Remove trash and clean garbage containers
  • Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
  • Assist with loading and unloading supplies and products
  • Perform other duties as assigned
