Job Requirements
- High-school graduate or GED equivalent required
- Entry level, 1-2 years experience in the service industry required
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift/carry up to fifty pounds
- Ability to bend and squat
- Ability to communicate clearly
- Ability to work in a well-lighted, temperature controlled environment
- Ability to interact with customers and coworkers
- Must be able to handle exposure to heat, chemicals, and cleaning solvents
Job Qualifications
- High-school graduate or GED equivalent
- Vocational school preferred
- 1-2 years experience in the service industry
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Good customer contact skills
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Ability to make sound, independent decisions
- Willingness to adjust to and conform to varying schedules
- Ability to work well with others
Job Duties
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans using dishwashers or by hand
- Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition
- Stock supplies such as food and utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and salad bars
- Sweep and scrub floors
- Clean garbage cans with water or steam
- Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
- Set up banquet tables
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks
- Support country club as needed
- Special projects as assigned by management
