Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of hire unless otherwise required by state law
  • Ability to communicate positively with team members and management
  • Ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to provide exceptional service while maintaining a positive attitude throughout the shift
  • Willingness to support all back of house functions to ensure smooth restaurant operation
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, bend, squat, kneel, and lift up to 40 lbs

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation practices
  • Strong communication skills

Job Duties

  • Arrive on time in full uniform and ready to work
  • Work directly with team members to meet all needs in a timely manner
  • Maintain proper food handling procedures and ensure sanitation of work areas
  • Work closely with team members to follow safety and sanitation protocols
  • Collect bus tubs and dirty dishes from front-of-house and back-of-house areas
  • Ensure steady supply of clean dishes, glassware, and utensils for cooks, servers, and bartenders
  • Re-stock areas for easy access by other staff
  • Provide support to cooks including occasional station assignments
  • Communicate with team members and management to ensure smooth operations
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas including sweeping and mopping when necessary
  • Assist with overall kitchen cleanliness including taking out trash
  • Complete running and end-of-shift side work ensuring areas are stocked for next dishwasher
  • Notify management immediately of any potential issues or problems
