Job Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
must be at least 18 years of age
food handlers permit required in accordance with the Lincoln-Lancaster Health Department
ability to understand and follow direction
ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
ability to complete required pre-employment food service training, if applicable
ability to work in a team
positive attitude and neat appearance
English preferred as primary language, but not required

Job Duties

Scrape and sort dishes before loading them into a dishwashing machine for cleaning
maintain dishwashing machine and report any mechanical faults to Executive Chef or Sous Chef
monitor dish machine water temperature during sanitized wash cycle and record temperature on log
wash dishes, glassware, pots, pans, flatware and kitchen items using dish machines or by hand
place clean dishes, utensils and cooking equipment in storage areas after they have air-dried
clean work areas including equipment, floors, walls and cooking areas
ensure that all chemicals for dish machine and 3-compartment sink are kept filled
keep all kitchen wares storage areas clean and orderly
remove trash from kitchen and transport to dumpster and clean/sanitize all garbage cans
assist with accepting delivery items and storage of such items
transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or using carts
occasionally assist in kitchen prep
must adhere to ASM Global’s dress code which includes wearing black pants and non-slip soled closed toe shoes
