Job Qualifications
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Effective interaction skills with residents and staff
- Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred
- Basic understanding of sanitation and health regulations
- Strong work ethic and reliability
Job Duties
- Dispose of all food, waste, and trash in accordance with established Health Department regulations
- Clean kitchen equipment, tables, disposals, dishwasher, sinks and counters
- Mop kitchen floor and take out trash
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen area
- Assist kitchen staff as needed
- Follow safety and hygiene protocols
- Handle dishwashing machinery properly
