Job Requirements
- One year of previous dishwasher experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work part-time Monday through Wednesday including some weekends
- Must be able to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Ability to lift and move kitchen supplies and equipment
- Willingness to follow safety procedures
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as sweeping, mopping and washing work surfaces
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One year of previous dishwasher experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work with dishwashing equipment
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
- Good physical stamina
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Job Duties
- Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment
- Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation
- Washes pots, pans and trays based on assigned procedures
- Polishes silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth depending on assigned equipment and procedures
- Ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures
- Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards
- Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards
