Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication skills
- Must comply with food safety and sanitation guidelines
Job Qualifications
- Minimal 1 year working experience
- Previous employment as a dishwasher, bus person or kitchen steward
- Strong problem solving and time management skills
- Punctual, dedicated and reliable
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift at least 20 lbs
- Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures
Job Duties
- Ensure the availability of clean dishes by bussing tables, washing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware
- Prepare dining areas and kitchen for next shift by cleaning and restocking dining areas and cook stations
- Clean machines and appliances used in the kitchen, such as coffee makers, pots, and pans, mixers, etc.
- Sweep and mop floors as needed
- Empty and clean trash receptacles
- Assist with general kitchen cleanliness and maintenance
- Follow food safety procedures diligently
