Job Requirements
- Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- ability to follow cleaning schedules and food safety standards
- physical ability to handle kitchen duties including lifting and standing for extended periods
- availability to work varied shifts as required
- willingness to assist culinary team and attend pre-meal meetings
Job Qualifications
- Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practices
- previous experience in dish room or kitchen environment preferred
Job Duties
- Maintain kitchen and dining areas in a clean and orderly condition
- wash, clean, sanitize and store all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans
- clean floors, equipment and other assigned areas
- provide high level of customer service promoting a restaurant style dining atmosphere
- work closely with Director of Culinary Services and Executive Director to ensure resident satisfaction
- adhere to cleaning schedules and maintain dish room in a neat and sanitary manner
- assist with preparation and execution of dining enhancement programs and special events
