Job Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Skill and coordination in using kitchen tools and equipment
- Ability to remain standing for an 8-12 hour shift
- Able to tolerate exposure to cold and hot temperatures (below 40F and above 140F) throughout the shift
- Ability to hear, understand, and respond to employees' requests in a loud environment
- Able to tolerate exposure to cleaning agents and chemicals
- Able to work in a fast-paced work environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is an asset
- Ability to work well in a team
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Capability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
Job Duties
- Set up dish area
- Clean dishes, glasses, pots, and pans throughout the shift
- Inspect dishes for cleanliness
- Stock plates and kitchen supplies
- Maintain a clean work space by mopping floors and cleaning walls
- Assist chefs with food prep and detailed cleaning
- Organize shelves and put orders away
