Job Requirements

  • Three months prior experience at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club
  • Culinary degree or certification(s) recommended
  • Positive attitude
  • Professional demeanor
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Proficiency in English
  • Ability to meet physical demands including standing and lifting heavy items
  • Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions

Job Qualifications

  • Three months prior experience at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club
  • Culinary degree/certification(s) or relevant on-job experience recommended
  • Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Additional languages preferred
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including standing, walking, moving for prolonged periods, and lifting items over fifty pounds

Job Duties

  • Maintain sanitation standards in all kitchen work areas by cleaning dishes and kitchen work areas, sweeping kitchen work areas, and removing trash
  • Provide clean cooking utensils for the F&B operations and ensure that all utensils and equipment are clean, dry, and correctly stored in the designated areas
  • Maintain safety, proper storage of chemicals, and chemical concentration logs
  • Daily set ups of china, glassware, and silverware items for all outlets
  • Participate as a team player with other key team members
  • Attend department briefings as necessary to communicate necessary information
  • Completion of all opening/closing procedures as instructed
  • Assist with execution of departmental objectives and goals
  • Monitoring inventory levels through regular inventory checks
  • Maintain all equipment and be sure it is properly handled and maintained
  • Clean and maintain floors and walls in kitchen and dish washing area by following standard procedures
  • Ensure all equipment is clean and in good working order
  • Wash, Wipe, Sort, stack and store all cleaned items in an organized and safe manner
  • Report any maintenance or hazard issues to the Executive Chef
  • Always maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Adhere to all company policy and procedures
  • Comply with all government, safety, health, and security standards through the department at all times
  • Perform any other duties as assigned
