- availability to work full-time day shift
- adherence to safety and sanitation standards
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- food safety handler certificate preferred or as required by state

Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize dishes, flatware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using proper techniques and chemical concentrations to meet safety and sanitation standards
- prepare items for washing by scraping and presoaking, ensuring all visible soil is removed before running through the dish machine for effective sanitization
- deliver patient trays and late trays accurately and on time, following identification protocols and confidentiality policies
- transport patient meal carts and bulk nourishment carts to and from nursing units, maintaining cleanliness of all carts and equipment
- restock clean serviceware to designated locations using correct handling procedures
- monitor dishroom sanitation logs, chemical usage, and equipment performance to ensure compliance
- perform other duties as assigned
