Job Requirements

  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs multiple times per shift
  • able to stand, bend, reach, and stoop for long periods in a hot, humid, and fast-paced kitchen environment

Job Qualifications

  • previous experience in a kitchen or dishwasher role preferred

Job Duties

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all plateware, silverware, glassware, cookware, and kitchen tools
  • operate and maintain the dish machine
  • assemble and break it down daily
  • wash, rinse, sanitize, and properly store all kitchen items in designated areas
  • keep dish station, pot sink, and utility areas clean and organized throughout the shift
  • remove garbage, recycling, and food waste to designated disposal areas
  • clean kitchen equipment, refrigerators, walls, floors, and workstations as scheduled or assigned
  • assist with receiving and putting away deliveries, ensuring proper FIFO rotation
  • perform minor food prep tasks such as peeling, portioning, or organizing mise en place as needed
  • take out and replace dirty linen and maintain clean towel supply
