Job Requirements

  • Basic kitchen knowledge
  • Ability to operate dishwashing equipment
  • Food preparation skills, such as chopping and slicing
  • Knowledge of sanitation and safety practices
  • Ability to lift and carry trays of food and beverages, typically up to 50 pounds
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the shift
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and twisting
  • Good hand-eye coordination
  • Clear verbal communication skills
  • Capability to work in diverse temperature conditions

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experiences in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not required
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment to ensure proper cleanliness and functionality
  • Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand
  • Assist with food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables and preparing ingredients
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in both the kitchen and dishwashing areas
  • Follow proper sanitation and safety procedures at all times
  • Support kitchen staff as needed, including food storage and inventory management
  • Assist waitstaff and servers by restocking supplies, clearing tables, and delivering items to the front-of-house as needed
