Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry trays of food and beverages, typically up to 50 pounds
  • prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the shift

  • capability to work in diverse temperature conditions

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experiences in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not required
  • ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
  • willingness to learn and follow instructions
  • basic kitchen knowledge
  • ability to operate dishwashing equipment
  • food preparation skills such as chopping and slicing
  • knowledge of sanitation and safety practices

Job Duties

  • Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment to ensure proper cleanliness and functionality
  • wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand
  • assist with food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables and preparing ingredients
  • maintain cleanliness and organization in both the kitchen and dishwashing areas
  • follow proper sanitation and safety procedures at all times
  • support kitchen staff as needed, including food storage and inventory management
  • assist waitstaff and servers by restocking supplies, clearing tables, and delivering items to the front-of-house as needed
