Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 12+ years of facilities and workplace operations experience
  • Experience managing complex office and lab campuses
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Expertise in budget management and financial analysis
  • Ability to manage projects and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency with relevant technology platforms
  • Willingness to travel to multiple sites
  • Ability to work onsite in Santa Clara, California

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field
  • 12+ years of workplace and facilities operations experience in a corporate environment
  • Proven experience managing large, complex office and lab campuses
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and team leadership
  • Expertise in financial analysis, budget formulation, and business case development
  • Exceptional project management skills
  • Proficiency with technology tools such as Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Asana
  • Willingness to travel as needed

Job Duties

  • Provide leadership guidance and coaching to workplace and facility managers
  • Develop and implement standards and processes to drive innovation and continuous improvement
  • Manage delivery of facilities services, event management, amenities, and support services
  • Advocate for employee experience and develop employee-centric programs
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Design, IT, Security, EHS, and Finance
  • Manage team performance, contracts, and procurement
  • Lead minor construction, tenant improvements, and space optimization initiatives
  • Drive Places Sustainability Strategy and maintain financial responsibility for operations budget
  • Maintain strong relationships with landlord and property management teams
