Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, industrial engineering, supply chain, or related field
- 10+ years of increasingly responsible supply chain or manufacturing experience
- 4+ years of direct supervisory experience in manufacturing or distribution operations
- Experience with WMS
- Participative management style and excellent organizational and communication skills
- Demonstrated experience building a diverse and strong management team
- Demonstrated ability to drive sustainable change
- Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally and deliver business results
- Knowledge of safety related issues including compliance with all applicable regulations
- Labor relations experience
- Strong business acumen and knowledge of continuous improvement, equipment design and installation, project management, and financial reporting
- Ability to analyze data using various operating systems and programs
- Experience with Oracle, SAP, or other SCP platforms is preferred
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, industrial engineering, supply chain, or related field
- Over 10 years of progressively responsible supply chain or manufacturing experience
- At least 4 years of direct supervisory experience in manufacturing or distribution operations
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Strong organizational and communication skills with a participative management style
- Demonstrated experience building diverse management teams and promoting teamwork
- Proven ability to drive sustainable change and work cross functionally
- Knowledge of safety compliance and labor relations
- Solid business acumen and knowledge in continuous improvement, equipment design, project management, and financial reporting
- Ability to analyze data using various operating systems
- Experience with Oracle, SAP, or other supply chain platforms preferred
Job Duties
- Strategic support of bakeries and distribution centers with KPIs such as product accountability, TRIR, order fill, order accuracy, OEE, inventory accuracy, cost per unit, on time seal, and on time delivery
- Pursuit of zero injuries through safety leadership and implementation of the Bimbo safety management system
- Food safety and quality control including FIFO and traceability
- Implementation of management systems to ensure reliable, resilient, and low-cost operations with a culture of continuous improvement
- Creation of internal metrics and performance reports to monitor and improve operational performance
- Collaboration with Finance to enforce robust inventory and expense controls
- Identification and implementation of automation and systems enhancements for operational efficiency
- Cross-functional partnership with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, Engineering, Human Relations, Labor Relations, Finance, Planning, and Transportation
- Execution of the Operations Excellence Playbook to drive initiatives in safety, service, and cost
- Leadership and empowerment of a diverse team to deliver operational excellence
- Alignment assurance with Operations Excellence and DSD excellence within the distribution organization
