Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or six years of supply chain experience in lieu of degree
  • Minimum two years of director-level experience
  • Experience in healthcare, specifically acute care
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic supply chain plans
  • Strong financial management skills including budget and forecasting
  • Licensure or certification such as CMRP preferred
  • Effective leadership and team management capabilities
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Six years of supply chain experience preferred if no degree
  • Minimum two years of director-level experience
  • Healthcare and acute care experience required
  • Certified Materials and Resources Professional (CMRP) certification preferred
  • Strong leadership and strategic planning skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Experience with contract compliance and budget management
  • Proven ability to lead teams effectively

Job Duties

  • Direct overall supply chain operations for one or multiple facilities
  • Manage purchasing, inventory, and distribution of supplies and equipment
  • Ensure financial performance through evaluation of spend, contract compliance, budget, and forecasting
  • Develop strategic plans to enhance productivity, quality, and operational efficiency
  • Resolve issues related to existing and new products in a timely and cost-efficient manner
  • Lead product conversion efforts at the hospital
  • Build and maintain relationships with peers and administrative leadership
  • Participate in various committees and meetings
  • Lead and direct the work of supply chain staff
  • Report to the CFO and Regional Supply Chain Leader
