Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in food science, supply chain, business administration, engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years in food and beverage industry in quality and food safety leadership roles
  • Must have held a manufacturing plant-based position in quality and food safety for a food or beverage plant
  • Familiarity with GFSI benchmark requirements and implementation
  • Strong experience in global supplier management and regulatory frameworks
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage supplier relationships
  • Excellent strategic negotiation and risk assessment skills

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in food science, supply chain, business administration, engineering, or related field
  • Experience in global supplier management, regulatory frameworks, risk assessment, food safety compliance, strategic negotiation, and cross-functional leadership
  • Over 10 years of experience in food and beverage industry in quality and food safety leadership roles for multinational organizations
  • Experience in manufacturing plant-based Quality and Food Safety roles
  • Deep understanding of GFSI benchmark requirements and program implementation
  • MBA or advanced degree in Food Science, Supply Chain, or Operations preferred
  • Experience in Fortune 500 or global consumer brands preferred
  • Expertise in sustainability and ethical Food Safety practices preferred

Job Duties

  • Develop and execute a risk-based supplier management framework
  • Lead innovation in Supply Base Management to anticipate market trends and mitigate risks
  • Champion food safety and quality standards across suppliers, roasting plants, and SRK locations
  • Implement advanced process capability programs to enhance supplier reliability
  • Direct and manage teams across Supplier FSQ pillars
  • Collaborate with sourcing, distribution, transportation, manufacturing, and product development teams
  • Oversee incident management protocols ensuring rapid resolution
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key suppliers
  • Model leadership behaviors grounded in Starbucks mission and values
  • Prioritize team engagement, development, and capability building
