Job Requirements

  • University degree in Business, Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics
  • Minimum of 14 years of relevant experience or advanced degree with 12 years of relevant experience
  • At least 12 years of experience in digital controls or cybersecurity-related roles
  • Minimum 5 years in leadership positions
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Ability to travel approximately 25 percent
  • Proven skills in communication and interpersonal relations
  • Experience working in aerospace and defense sectors preferred
  • Ability to work remotely and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills

Job Qualifications

  • A university degree in Business, Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics with a minimum of 14 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field with at least 12 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum of 12 years experience in digital controls, cybersecurity, capability maturity or a related discipline with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance required prior to start date
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Experience in top-tier risk advisory or management consulting firm preferred
  • Proven track record of managing digital controls programs in large, complex organizations especially in Aerospace and Defense
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC or similar are desirable
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office with experience preparing presentations to executive leadership
  • Expert knowledge of national and international laws, regulations, policies, and ethics related to cybersecurity
  • General knowledge of IT, AI, and cybersecurity including incident response, business continuity, vulnerability management, application security, identity and access management, OT security, cloud security, and third-party risk management

Job Duties

  • Define and implement a comprehensive global regulatory strategy that aligns with the company's strategic goals
  • Ensure RTX global sites are compliant with digital policies, contractual requirements, and local regulations
  • Maintain strong understanding of global digital controls, risk management frameworks, standards, and best practices such as Part-IS, ISO, NIS2, NIST, CMMC, GDPR, CIS, SCF
  • Oversee the readiness of all unclassified Defense and Commercial systems for assessments and certifications including NIS2, Part-IS, ISO27001, AUS DISP, UK Cyber Essential/+, and CMMC
  • Inform, adopt and implement an operational strategy that leverages innovation and incorporates a Unified Controls Framework (UCF) across regulatory requirements
  • Define, implement, operate and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRIs) related to SRS
  • Lead the identification, assessment, prioritization and reporting of digital controls non-compliance risks
  • Lead and mentor a team of digital regulatory and controls professionals through transformation and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, cybersecurity, audit, legal, and compliance to ensure cohesive regulatory and policy testing and assessment
  • Partner with other functions to drive the development and implementation of controls to safeguard digital assets and ensure compliance
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on digital regulatory and policy matters providing guidance and support
  • Travel approximately 25%
