Job Duties
- provides strategic leadership and direction for special events hosted or supported by the President's Office
- directs planning, coordination, and execution of presidential and university events including dinners, receptions, meetings, and formal ceremonies
- oversees event operations and serves as primary decision-maker during high-visibility events
- sets and enforces standards for hospitality, protocol, and guest experience at presidential events
- coordinates event communications including invitations and promotional materials aligned with institutional branding
- serves as a senior resource for event standards, policies, and best practices advising campus partners
- leads and supervises the Special Events team fostering professionalism and collaboration
- manages budget development, expense tracking, and ensures fiscal compliance
- represents the Office of the President on university committees and external engagements ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
