Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in aviation management or technical discipline
  • 8-10 years of relevant experience in aviation management, maintenance, dispatch, or as a line pilot
  • pilot's license or Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification or equivalent experience
  • proven leadership skills
  • prior SMS or IEP program management or oversight experience
  • professional experience or education in auditing or investigations
  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to prioritize multiple objectives in a dynamic environment

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in aviation management or technical discipline
  • 8-10 years of experience in aviation management or related roles
  • pilot's license or Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification or equivalent
  • experience with Safety Management Systems or Internal Evaluation Program management
  • education or professional experience in auditing or investigations
  • familiarity with safety analysis, trending, and risk assessment
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • demonstrated leadership and public speaking abilities
  • proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities

Job Duties

  • Oversee NetJets safety programs to identify hazards that may harm people, equipment, business, or brand reputation
  • manage risk by understanding hazard root cause, likelihood, and severity
  • ensure policy, process, and procedures are effective in maintaining acceptable risk levels
  • oversee NetJets Internal Evaluation Program to ensure effective audits and corrective actions
  • manage safety communication program to promote a just culture and safety passion
  • ensure safety manuals, job aids, and documentation are current and compliant
  • oversee Emergency Response Plan with effective training and procedures
  • prepare reports and presentations for executive leadership
