Job Requirements
- Maintain current security clearance

Job Qualifications
- Operationally active ATAC pilot
- Thorough understanding of ATAC mission, procedures, and governing documents
- Comprehensive knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), civil aviation safety practices, and overseas host country standards
- Military command experience highly desired
- Aviation Safety Officer certification from a military safety institution or equivalent education and experience
- Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) required
Job Duties
- Ensure full compliance with internal and external safety directives, policies, and procedures
- Implement and review/revise the Safety Management System (SMS) and associated enclosures
- Lead Flight Safety Managers and coordinate with operational and maintenance leadership on flight and ground safety
- Provide timely safety advice and assistance to company leadership and employees
- Evaluate and manage notification processes for flight and ground mishaps, incidents, and hazards
- Conduct and coordinate mishap investigations and report findings
- Track implementation and resolution of mishap safety recommendations
- Manage the Operational Risk Management Program including hazard identification and risk mitigation
- Provide and oversee flight and ground safety training and promotion
- Conduct safety trend analysis and coordinate with contractors to mitigate risks
- Participate in ATAC, DoD, NTSB, and FAA safety committees and councils
- Deploy as required to support mission requirements
- Perform other tasks as directed by the Vice President for Safety
