Job Requirements

  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
  • 4 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales and marketing, management operations, or related professional area
  • or 4-year bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
  • 2 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales and marketing, management operations, or related professional area
  • Ability to analyze service issues and identify trends
  • Strong decision-making skills to keep property aligned with goals
  • Experience developing operational strategies aligned with brand business strategy
  • Skilled in financial monitoring including budget performance and wage control
  • Capable of coaching and supporting operations teams
  • Skilled in human resources activities including performance management and associate engagement
  • Commitment to promoting fairness, equity, and inclusion in the workplace
  • Effective communication skills for conveying goals and expectations
  • Ability to foster innovative service improvements and guest satisfaction

Job Qualifications

  • 2-year degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field with 4 years relevant experience
  • or 4-year bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field with 2 years relevant experience
  • Experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales and marketing, or management operations
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and operational strategy
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Job Duties

  • Develop and implement departmental strategies aligned with brand service standards
  • Monitor and analyze rooms operations sales performance against budget
  • Coach and support operations teams in managing occupancy, rate, wages, and controllable expenses
  • Lead guest satisfaction improvement initiatives by reviewing feedback and taking corrective actions
  • Ensure visible leadership presence to engage with guests and staff regularly
  • Manage human resources functions including associate development, performance appraisals, and disciplinary procedures
  • Foster associate commitment through communication and modeling desired service behaviors
