Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3 to 5 years of relevant corporate fundraising and volunteer management experience
- proven experience in special event fundraising and gala management
- strong organizational and planning skills
- excellent communication skills
- ability to prioritize and handle multiple demands
- ability to work independently and collaboratively
- ability to lift up to 25 lbs
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in corporate fundraising and relationship building
- experience recruiting and mobilizing volunteers to meet goals
- 3 to 5 years of experience specifically in galas or special events with a track record of successful event fundraising
- strong volunteer management experience
- excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills
- ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Responsible for all aspects of the Chapter’s Memory Gala and wrap around event(s)
- recruit, train, coach, and manage high level volunteers to achieve revenue and engagement goals
- build and maintain relationships with key volunteers, participants, sponsors, community leaders, and corporate partners
- manage financial aspects of sponsor and donor fulfillment
- prospect, cultivate, and steward Gala sponsors and donors through volunteer networks to achieve development goals
- maintain year-round relationships with corporate sponsors, donors, and volunteers to ensure involvement and recognition
- organize outreach activities promoting the Alzheimer’s Association mission including community presentations and corporate engagement
- ensure compliance with Alzheimer’s Association standards
- actively participate in ongoing professional development and learning opportunities
- perform other duties as assigned
