Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of retail management experience directing multiple districts, P&L, inventory, operations, customer service and marketing
  • 7+ years of management experience leading a team of 6 or more, including training and coaching to support team members to achieve partner, business and customer results
  • experience in a multi-unit environment, knowledge of retail and/or restaurant industry operations and financial reporting
  • strong organization, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • minimum High School or GED
  • a college degree in business or closely related field OR 4+ years of US Military service may substitute for a portion of required experience

Job Duties

  • work closely with vp, operations and implementation, Starbucks Reserve to ensure strategic programs are delivered according to defined success criteria
  • develop an integrated plan that includes program deliverables, strategic alignment, total revenue, profit opportunity, business-wide impacts, for Starbucks Reserve
  • plan and manage business unit and department processes and practices to ensure that programs are aligned with company business goals and objectives
  • drive operational planning and execution for changes to policies and practices, promotional programs and initiatives and rollout strategies for all new products, programs and systems
  • drive a strategy for the growing events business across Starbucks Reserve locations
  • estimate resource requirements as part of the annual planning and budgeting process and prepares quarterly forecast updates
  • work across business unit and functional lines to create a cohesive working team, build relationships and deliver programs and associated projects leveraging matrixed resources
  • coordinate implementation assignments so each department at the Starbucks Support Center has a representative from Starbucks Reserve to provide direction on programs
  • meet regularly with key stakeholders to provide information, data and recommendations to support the decision making process
  • provide coaching, direction and leadership support to challenges and inspire partners to achieve partner, business and customer results
