Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10 or more years of supply chain experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry
  • 5-7 years of management experience
  • Experience in strategic sourcing and contract management
  • Proven leadership and team development abilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and presentation skills

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10 or more years of supply chain experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry
  • 5-7 years of management experience
  • Experience in strategically evaluating protein categories and suppliers
  • Strategic sourcing experience including contract review, editing, and approval
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
  • Ability to develop and implement competitive strategic procurement plans
  • Excellent judgment and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication, presentation, and reporting skills

Job Duties

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies for each assigned product category to support business objectives
  • Lead a productive and engaged Protein Procurement team through coaching, priority setting, performance management, and talent selection
  • Develop long-term alliances with suppliers and internal stakeholders to secure the best products, service, quality, and price
  • Foster and maintain positive, productive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Enhance strategies for product sourcing, supplier negotiations, and inventory management
  • Analyze complex data, negotiate prices and terms, and develop contracting recommendations
  • Manage the creation, issuance, and management of Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
  • Ensure contract compliance and adherence to Brinker’s Code of Business Conduct
  • Address difficult product and stakeholder support issues promptly and effectively
