Job Description

The Macon Bacon is a collegiate summer baseball team based in Macon, Georgia, playing in the prestigious Coastal Plain League. Since their bold return to Historic Luther Williams Field in 2018, the Macon Bacon have become a nationally recognized team not only for their exciting play on the field but also for their outstanding community engagement and fan experience. Job Requirements

  • minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in food and beverage or ballpark operations preferred
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • capacity to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • proactive problem-solving skills
  • strong leadership abilities
  • willingness to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Oversee food and beverage operations including menu creation and execution of all-you-can-eat plans
  • manage ballpark maintenance and upkeep of Historic Luther Williams Field
  • plan and execute offseason events ensuring detailed organization and success
  • supervise training and staffing of game day personnel
  • foster a positive and fun office culture that celebrates team victories
  • collaborate with senior leadership to align operational strategies
  • ensure guest satisfaction through top-notch customer service
