Job Requirements

  • progress toward a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • minimum of 3 years of multi-unit, multi-concept management experience
  • overall restaurant management experience of at least 7 years
  • proven track record managing restaurant success and failure
  • ability to interpret and act on financial and operational data
  • demonstrated ability to lead, delegate, and resolve issues within teams
  • willingness to work varied and rotating schedules including early mornings, busy periods, and late shifts
  • ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
  • strong decision-making skills
  • able to remain compliant with health, safety, and labor regulations

Job Qualifications

  • demonstrated multi-unit restaurant management experience
  • experience managing diverse restaurant brands and service styles including QSR and FSR
  • solid understanding of financial metrics and P&L management
  • strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
  • ability to build positive relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • proficiency with operational and scheduling software tools
  • ability to manage multiple priorities and problem solve
  • excellent communication skills
  • knowledge of safety and health regulations
  • demonstrated ability to implement employee engagement behaviors
  • experience in budget development and achieving financial goals

Job Duties

  • manage all revenue-generating and operational activities of approximately six restaurants within the location
  • hold general managers and staff accountable for operational standards
  • build and maintain relationships with landlords, unions, and joint venture partners
  • develop and implement annual budgets and financial forecasts
  • interview and make hiring decisions for key positions
  • ensure leadership coverage during all operational hours
  • oversee onboarding and offboarding of restaurant associates
  • support employee engagement and recognition programs
  • monitor financial and operational reports to track performance
  • make purchasing decisions for maintenance and supplies
  • ensure daily product orders and inventory levels are maintained
  • monitor and schedule equipment maintenance and repairs
  • provide training and coaching to restaurant staff
  • implement marketing programs and promotions
  • uphold all safety, health, and sanitation standards
  • resolve customer and associate issues using sound judgment
  • communicate leadership vision and goals to branch leadership
  • participate in food donation and waste minimization programs
