Job Requirements
- Progress toward a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of seven years of overall restaurant management experience with at least three years in multi-unit management
- Solid understanding of financial drivers and key performance indicators
- Strong technical knowledge of restaurant operations and standards
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and apply critical thinking
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work varied and rotating schedules including some opening and closing shifts
Job Qualifications
- Demonstrated multi-unit restaurant management experience
- Proven ability to manage multiple restaurant concepts and units
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of P&L
- Knowledge of restaurant service quality, safety and operational standards
- Ability to build and lead high performing teams
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with employee training and development
- Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders
Job Duties
- Ensure all GMs and staff prepare each restaurant for next-day opening, holding GMs accountable for opening and closing checklists
- Facilitate development and implementation of annual budgets, financial forecasts and business goals
- Develop, maintain, and foster growth of landlord, brand and DBE partner relationships
- Interview candidates, make hiring, termination, promotion and advancement decisions
- Schedule managers to ensure leadership presence during operating hours
- Hold GMs accountable for onboarding and offboarding, including compliance with badging and training
- Support employee engagement and recognition programs to motivate restaurant staff
