Job Requirements

  • Education and management knowledge demonstrated through progress toward a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Multi-unit restaurant management experience including various service styles
  • Solid understanding of financial drivers and ability to navigate P&L reports
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations, safety, and quality standards
  • Ability to build positive relationships with public, team members, executive management, union representatives, and partners
  • Strong team management and leadership skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, solve problems, and communicate effectively
  • Ability to work varied schedule including some opening, busy, and closing shifts

Job Qualifications

  • Progress toward a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 3 years multi-unit, multi-concept restaurant management experience
  • At least 7 years of overall restaurant experience
  • Proven financial acumen with ability to analyze P&L and drive key performance indicators
  • Knowledge of restaurant product, service quality, safety, and operational standards
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build and maintain positive relationships with various stakeholders
  • Experience leading high performing teams, delegation, and issue resolution
  • Effective communication skills including oral, written, and policy comprehension

Job Duties

  • Ensures all general managers and staff prepare each restaurant for next-day opening and execute closing and opening checklist requirements
  • Facilitates the development and implementation of the annual budget, financial forecasts, and business goals
  • Develops, maintains, and fosters relationships with landlords, brand partners, and DBE partners
  • Interviews candidates for key jobs and makes hiring, termination, advancement, and promotion decisions
  • Responsible for scheduling managers to ensure leadership presence during all operational hours
  • Holds general managers accountable for onboarding and offboarding of restaurant associates including compliance with badging, orientation, and training
  • Supports company recognition initiatives and motivates restaurant staff through coaching and feedback
