Job Duties
- Lead ongoing inventory analysis to optimize stone movement
- manage receipt, processing, inventory, and supply of diamonds ensuring process efficiency and accuracy
- lead creation and implementation of IT initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce risk
- enhance supply chain accuracy to strengthen competitive positioning
- partner with global grading labs to improve process efficiency
- identify and support new diamond industry technologies including laser inscription and clarity plotting
- collaborate with business partners to ensure diamond and gemstone flow aligns with company goals
- provide acquisition team with operational support including PO writing and maintenance
- oversee operational personnel, budget, accuracy, and service quality
- set and communicate clear performance expectations, optimize employee development, and foster flexible work environment
- uphold professional behavior to build trust and represent department internally and externally
- develop enhanced inventory control procedures and implement supporting technology
- establish and enforce inventory and cycle count procedures aligned with audit and compliance
- ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, audit initiatives, safety, and business conduct policies
- understand business strategies to drive goal achievement
- conduct cost-benefit analysis and track KPIs and project innovations
- adapt organizational structure to support strategic initiatives
- promote safety leadership and maintain open communication about safety and wellness
- enforce adherence to corporate policies and governance
