Job Requirements

  • Degree in Theme Park Management, Arts Administration, Production, Sports Event Management or related field
  • Seven or more years of experience in entertainment operations management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of live entertainment production operations including budgeting and labor management
  • Proficiency in operations management software
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to manage budgets and negotiate contracts
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and make decisions
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required

Job Qualifications

  • Degree in Theme Park Management, Arts Administration, Production, Sports Event Management or related field or equivalent professional experience
  • Seven or more years of experience in entertainment operations management within entertainment, sports production or live event industries
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge and experience in live entertainment production operations including budgeting, labor management, scheduling, logistics, programming, strategic planning and safety protocols
  • Proficiency in operations management software such as Wrike, Microsoft Project, Asana or Trello
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices in entertainment production
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Leadership skills with ability to plan, collaborate and make confident decisions
  • Strong communicator capable of providing clear direction to diverse stakeholders
  • Highly organized with ability to manage complex schedules and resources
  • Detail-oriented attentive to all aspects of project processes

Job Duties

  • Define and execute the operational strategy for entertainment, live shows, parades, costumed character programs, seasonal events and activities across all parks
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with corporate departments to ensure alignment across park operations, maintenance, safety and risk management, shared services to deliver seamless and integrated guest experiences
  • Develop detailed production schedules, timelines, and workflows for various projects ensuring timely and organized execution
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of operations through participation in global forums, workshops and training sessions while maintaining and improving key performance indicators
  • Manage the annual operating budget for the UK and US park entertainment operations including labor, operating expenses and vendor contracts, and oversee P&L creation, management, and reporting
  • Ensure all entertainment operations and productions meet highest standards of show quality, creative intent and compliance with local and regional regulations
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with production activities, develop contingency plans and ensure safety, compliance and welfare standards across all activations
  • Work extended hours including weekends and holidays and travel internationally as project locations require
