Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Five or more years of experience as a Director of Spa or Wellbeing
  • Proven leadership and team management experience
  • Strong financial management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives
  • Knowledge of spa and wellness industry trends
  • Ability to work collaboratively with hotel management and external vendors

Job Qualifications

  • Five or more years of operating experience as a Director of Spa or Wellbeing in a luxury hospitality setting preferred
  • Previous experience of successfully managing and developing a large team
  • Confident, warm, and motivating leadership style
  • Strong aptitude in financial management, financial reports, and analysis
  • Demonstrated track record of strong attention to detail and effective communication skills

Job Duties

  • Oversee and maintain all spa operations to ensure performance at the highest level of guest satisfaction and service excellence
  • Drive revenue growth through strategic marketing and promotions
  • Collaborate with vendors to source premium spa products and services
  • Manage both short and long-term financial objectives, adding value and managing outcomes through a balanced lens
  • Maintain and champion the Auberge Collection culture
  • Keep up-to-date knowledge of market trends, property systems, and standards
  • Provide leadership, direction, and support to all Wellbeing Department team members, fostering a highly motivated team that consistently delivers service excellence
  • Monitor team procedures, including scheduling and payroll accuracy
  • Develop an annual training plan with Wellbeing Department Heads and leaders, ensuring all team members are trained and developed to meet business needs
