Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Five or more years of experience as a Director of Spa or Wellbeing
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Strong financial management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives
- Knowledge of spa and wellness industry trends
- Ability to work collaboratively with hotel management and external vendors
Job Qualifications
- Five or more years of operating experience as a Director of Spa or Wellbeing in a luxury hospitality setting preferred
- Previous experience of successfully managing and developing a large team
- Confident, warm, and motivating leadership style
- Strong aptitude in financial management, financial reports, and analysis
- Demonstrated track record of strong attention to detail and effective communication skills
Job Duties
- Oversee and maintain all spa operations to ensure performance at the highest level of guest satisfaction and service excellence
- Drive revenue growth through strategic marketing and promotions
- Collaborate with vendors to source premium spa products and services
- Manage both short and long-term financial objectives, adding value and managing outcomes through a balanced lens
- Maintain and champion the Auberge Collection culture
- Keep up-to-date knowledge of market trends, property systems, and standards
- Provide leadership, direction, and support to all Wellbeing Department team members, fostering a highly motivated team that consistently delivers service excellence
- Monitor team procedures, including scheduling and payroll accuracy
- Develop an annual training plan with Wellbeing Department Heads and leaders, ensuring all team members are trained and developed to meet business needs
