Job Requirements
- 4-5 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in aviation administration or relevant field
- Experience developing and maintaining FAA-approved training programs
- FAA Commercial Pilot or ATP certificate preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening including background check
- Submit to random drug and alcohol tests during employment
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in aviation administration or relevant field
- Experience developing and maintaining FAA-approved training programs
- FAA Commercial Pilot or ATP certificate preferred with appropriate type ratings
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of FAA regulations and training standards
- Ability to conduct internal audits and manage compliance
- Experience in project management and training budget oversight
Job Duties
- Develop, implement, and maintain FAA-approved training programs for flight crew, ground, and dispatch personnel
- Provide expertise, guidance, and project management for new operating regulations
- Ensure compliance with all FAA training requirements and coordinate with the Principal Operations Inspector
- Maintain all training records and documentation to FAA standards
- Schedule, track, and manage recurrent, initial, and upgrade training for pilots and safety-sensitive employees
- Oversee ground and flight instructor training, records, and activities
- Oversee qualification, standardization, and performance of company instructors and check airmen
- Coordinate with Director of Operations, Chief Pilot, Director of Flight Support, and Director of Maintenance for operational readiness
- Conduct internal audits of training programs
- Maintain and update training manuals
- Represent the company during FAA audits, inspections, and evaluations
- Develop and manage the training budget
- Travel to maintain knowledge of operations and provide training oversight
- Remain qualified as a Check Airman and serve as line qualified pilot on a limited basis
