Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, sports management, or related field preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in ticketing operations
  • At least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Proven experience managing ticketing for large-scale sporting and/or entertainment events
  • Strong knowledge of ticketing systems such as Ticketmaster, AXS, or SeatGeek
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the San Diego area for onsite work

  • Proven track record managing ticketing for large-scale sporting and/or entertainment events
  • Strong knowledge of ticketing systems (e.g., Ticketmaster, AXS, SeatGeek, or equivalent)
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong financial acumen, including experience with reconciliations, reporting, and revenue management
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners
  • Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the San Diego area for onsite work

Job Duties

  • Lead, manage, and mentor the ticketing operations team, ensuring exceptional service and operational excellence
  • Oversee the day-to-day ticketing operations, including box office management, event builds, reporting, and reconciliation
  • Partner with promoters, team partners (San Diego Clippers and San Diego Sockers), and internal departments to plan, implement, and execute ticketing strategies
  • Ensure compliance with ticketing policies, procedures, and financial controls
  • Implement best practices in ticketing software, technology, and data analytics to improve sales, efficiency, and customer experience
  • Develop staffing plans and schedules for box office and event ticketing staff
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and sales to optimize pricing, promotions, and seat inventory management
  • Provide reporting and insights to senior leadership on ticket sales performance, revenue, and trends
  • Maintain excellent relationships with season ticket holders, groups, and premium customers through efficient and customer-friendly service
