- five years comparable healthcare management experience
- rhode island certification in food safety
- ability to manage multiple departments simultaneously
- strong organizational and leadership skills
- knowledge of healthcare regulations
- excellent communication skills
- proficiency in financial and information management
- ability to develop and implement safety policies
- commitment to continuous improvement

Job Qualifications
- bachelor’s degree required
- ms in management or equivalent education and/or experience preferred
- five years comparable healthcare management experience in healthcare food services, support services or related fields
- rhode island certification in food safety required
- demonstrated leadership and decision-making skills
- proficiency in budget and financial management
- strong knowledge of regulatory compliance
- experience in human resource management
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- direct food and nutrition, environmental services, linen services, mailroom, and transport services departments
- ensure synergistic and harmonious function of departments
- comply with regulatory, licensure and accreditation standards
- develop and manage departmental budgets
- assess and improve operational effectiveness and productivity
- oversee human resource management including recruitment, performance assessment, and disciplinary actions
- develop and implement department-specific safety policies and training
- manage physical assets and equipment maintenance
- lead continual improvement initiatives
- foster effective communication and collaboration
- establish and maintain strategic alliances and partnerships
- promote a culture of customer service and professional development
