Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or relevant field
- minimum 10 years experience in strategic sales account management
- at least 5 years in leadership roles
- proven ability to lead a strategic accounts group
- strong communication and negotiation skills
- proficiency with CRM software
- understanding of construction industry trends
- ability to work effectively with diverse teams
- strategic and critical thinking skills
Job Qualifications
- bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- MBA preferred
- minimum of 10 years experience in strategic sales account management with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- proven experience leading a strategic accounts group preferred
- strong strategic thinking and critical thinking skills
- excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
- proficiency in sales methodologies, tools, and techniques
- ability to operate effectively at all levels within an organization
- strong utilization of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- strong understanding of key markets and industry trends
- ability to lead and motivate a team and hold it accountable to consistent selling practices
- able to execute company-level strategy through two independent brands
Job Duties
- craft and implement bold strategic account plans to achieve ambitious sales targets and expand market share
- forge deep, trusted relationships with key clients, understanding their unique business needs and aligning brand offerings and solutions to deliver exceptional value
- inspire, mentor, and develop a high-performing strategic accounts team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
- lead the execution of innovative sales strategies, from presentations to high-stakes negotiations
- stay ahead of market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine strategic direction
- identify and align with key builders and partners, creating new opportunities to land and expand key accounts
- develop an account strategy that aligns with desired business complexity and construction methods
- drive insight-led and consultative selling approaches to build and accelerate a robust sales pipeline
- collaborate with segment GMs, sales organizations, and builder services groups to deliver cohesive and exceptional client experience
- monitor key metrics, provide regular updates to senior management, and ensure excellence
