Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Eight years managerial or supervisory slot experience
- At least 21 years of age
- Ability to obtain and maintain required STGC Gaming License
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings
- Must possess and maintain valid New Mexico Driver's License
- Ability to work long hours under stress
- Punctual and regular attendance
- Ability to meet physical demands such as walking, standing, sitting, stooping
- Ability to work indoors under varying conditions
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to develop and implement policies and budgets
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance Administration, Human Resource Management or related field
- Eight years of managerial or supervisory experience in slot operations
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to supervise, coordinate, and direct work
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to analyze reports and develop policies
- Ability to manage budgets
- Knowledge of casino operations and gaming reporting requirements
- Ability to pass an extensive background check
- Fluent in English
- Experience with staff training and development
- Valid New Mexico Driver's License
Job Duties
- Supervise all operations, technical and administrative duties of the Slot Department
- Develop, implement and monitor slot policies and procedures
- Create strategies to expand guest attendance and increase slot profits
- Manage and monitor the Slot Department budget and document variances monthly
- Structure department operational goals and enforce organizational policies
- Maintain records of all slot machines including mix, payout percentages, and locations
- Ensure compliance with National Indian Gaming Commission and State Compact specifications
- Provide reports to management, Tribal Council, and other department managers
- Monitor service levels through reports and follow-ups
- Collaborate with Marketing on slot promotions to generate revenue and profits
- Identify training needs for staff and Tribal members and coordinate development programs
- Train staff on current and new slot machine technology
- Establish procedures with Surveillance and Security to protect assets and personnel
- Oversee effective transfer of slot banks to the main vault
- Establish outstanding customer relations
- Adhere to Title 31 procedures
- Maintain business relationships with vendors
- Recommend slot format and prize payment adjustments based on competition
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Ensure punctual and regular attendance
- Direct and manage major department operations
- Motivate and lead team members effectively
- Prepare and recommend business plans and operational budgets
- Demonstrate innovative thinking in business planning
- Foster team engagement aligned with the organization mission
- Create a collaborative and inclusive work environment
- Manage day-to-day operations to meet financial objectives
