Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2 years experience in housekeeping or related professional area
  • OR 2-year degree from accredited university in relevant field
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Commitment to customer service excellence
  • Proficiency in managing budgets and inventories

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 2 years experience in housekeeping or related area
  • OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience with budgeting and cost management
  • Ability to handle guest complaints professionally
  • Knowledge of housekeeping standards and procedures
  • Skilled in managing inspections and staff development

Job Duties

  • Manage housekeeping functions and staff to maintain cleanliness of guest rooms, public spaces, and employee areas
  • Collaborate with Front Office to coordinate operational communications and cleaning assignments
  • Inventory and ensure adequate supplies for housekeeping operations
  • Implement and maintain inspection programs for various property areas including rooms, public areas, and laundry
  • Supervise and approve budgeting and ordering of guestroom and cleaning supplies
  • Handle guest problems and complaints effectively, promoting continuous improvement
  • Interview, hire, and manage housekeeping staff while enforcing disciplinary procedures
