Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or related major preferred
  • minimum 5 years experience in security, loss prevention or related field
  • 4 years supervisory experience preferred
  • proven leadership ability
  • excellent communication skills
  • knowledge of emergency procedures and safety protocols
  • capability to conduct investigations
  • ability to lead and motivate a team
  • strong organizational skills
  • familiarity with legal compliance and local authority requirements
  • ability to handle customer complaints and disputes professionally
  • valid certifications in first aid and CPR

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • manages security operations daily
  • provides protection and safety for property assets, employees, guests, and property
  • develops and implements emergency procedures
  • investigates security breaches and loss of property assets
  • deploys security staff to monitor and protect property
  • complies with safety and security guidelines and procedures
  • completes documentation and reports for incidents
  • conducts property and parking area patrols
  • handles guest problems, disputes, and grievances
  • identifies and recommends minimizing physical hazards and unsafe practices
  • maintains reports on patrols
  • provides timely medical attention means
  • conducts employee performance appraisals
  • develops educational and training programs
  • completes disciplinary procedures
  • maintains first aid and CPR certifications
  • implements local authority requirements for security
  • attends meetings to understand group needs
