Job Requirements
- minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent education
- two to four years of relevant experience in hospitality sales and marketing
- proven leadership and team management skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- fluency in local language
- willingness to work collaboratively across departments
- strong organizational and analytical skills
- ability to create and implement effective sales strategies
- flexibility to handle ad-hoc duties
- commitment to enhancing guest experience
- readiness to adapt to a dynamic hotel environment
- availability to meet performance and revenue goals
Job Qualifications
- bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing or related field
- two to four years experience in hospitality or hotel sales and marketing
- direct supervisory experience over a sales team or equivalent combination of education and experience
- proficiency in local language
- additional languages preferred
Job Duties
- manage everyday activities, plan and assign work ensuring appropriate staffing levels
- develop team performance through coaching, feedback, and creating development goals
- train colleagues to ensure compliance with standards and efficient work processes
- recommend or initiate HR-related actions as needed
- foster a positive working environment and connect departments as one team
- hit personal and team sales goals, maximize profitability
- achieve budgeted revenues and participate in departmental budget and business planning
- create and implement sales plans to drive occupancy, increase average rates, and boost food and beverage and banquet sales
- produce monthly reports and sales forecasts, analyze market trends, and monitor sales performance
- assist guests with requests and complaints
- provide guests with information about loyalty programs, attractions, and facilities
- develop and maintain relationships with key clients to generate group, convention, and catering business
- schedule group activities and coordinate with hotel departments to deliver agreed services
- raise awareness and reputation of the hotel and brand locally
- identify and implement improvements to marketing and sales performance
- undertake ad-hoc duties as required
- oversee professionalism of the sales and marketing team, including administrative members
